Martial Arts

And

Weapons

I've been lucky to study the art of self defense since the age of five, and it continues to be an influential part of my work.

I've had the privilege of training in American Kempo Karate with Master Dominick Panetta (above) for most of my life. It has been a large part of my upbringing and continues to be an integral aspect of my day-to-day life.

Not only has my training in Kempo prepared me for potentially threatening scenarios, but it has also given me a keen physical ability and kinesthetic awareness.

I have transformed my background in martial arts into a powerful tool when staging fight sequences as a fight director, or when acting various roles that demand strong physical or combat ability.

Throughout my years of studying American Kempo Karate, I've had the opportunity to train in self-defense with weapons such as jo staff, sai, and nunchaku, as well as in how to defend against various weapons.

More stuff

A favorite non-martial arts sport of mine is archery. I enjoy shooting both recurve and compound bows, and is another one of my favorite weapons to practice with.

Exhausted after the black belt exam.
