SCULPTINg

I use ZBrush to sculpt models based on reference, then decimate the meshes so I can texture, light, and render in Maya.

The Carnotaurus was particularly fun because it was a cool excuse to go to the LA Natural History Museum. Particularly to study that dino foot structure. Weirdly hard.

Software used

-ZBrush

-Maya

RANCOR

I stuck the Rancor on a base and 3D printed him. He was so big, I had to chop his arms off, print them separately, and glue them back on.

These fun faces were hand-sculpted in ZBrush, custom textured and rendered in Maya, and color corrected for a card game. I painstakingly created each and every one, rounding out to a total of forty faces, which I'm assembled in a little collage below.
